We started with a simple conviction

A student's future should never hinge on a number no human ever checked. This year made that risk painfully real: answer sheets scanned and graded at scale, mismatched to the wrong students, blurred pages marked anyway, and marks handed down with no teacher in the loop and no way to question them.

We built GradeAnswers to prove there is a better way. By combining high-accuracy handwriting recognition with rubric-aware AI and a human-in-the-loop workflow, we turn stacks of handwritten sheets into precise, actionable data — while keeping teachers firmly in control of every score.

Teachers are not a formality in our system; they are the system. Technology does the repetitive work, surfaces what needs attention, and shows its reasoning — and a trained educator makes the final call. Every score is traceable, and every student can see how they were graded.
